Tyler Sloves Profile

Proud to be with Prudential Advisors for over 18 years and became an Emeritus Prudential Advisor in 2010.

As a Financial Advisor, I help individuals, families and businesses meet their financial needs for the long term. I take this mission very seriously and work closely with my clients to analyze, their current situation and then build a path to financial wellness and security.

My team and I have the tools, skills, knowledge and resources to make the recommendations that will help guide our clients towards making the decisions that are critical to their goals.

Everyone has different financial goals. That’s why it’s important to work with someone who can understand your specific financial situation and provide guidance with that knowledge in mind.

My team and I will work to:

Evaluate your financial needs, priorities and goals

Develop a step-by-step strategy to support your objectives

Periodically review your goals, and adjust strategies when needed

Work with your professional advisors, like your attorney and accountant, if necessary

Together, we can help find solutions to financial challenges such as:

Building a strong financial foundation

Facing the financial challenges of simultaneously providing for your children and your parents

Preparing for the costs of higher education

Reducing or eliminating debt

Leaving a legacy

Preparing for retirement

Protecting your business and attracting top talent

When you work with a Financial Advisor, you’ll also gain access to a professional relationship geared towards helping you meet the challenges of your financial wellness.

It’s a relationship based on integrity. On trust. And on a commitment to helping you find financial confidence – at every step along the way, no matter your stage of life or financial situation.

Tyler received his bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University, in 1997.

Tyler owned and operated his own retail businesses before becoming, Executive Vice President of Tourneau for over 7 years. He then went on to join Prudential Advisors in 2000 and built a successful Prudential Financial Advisory Practice with the resources and support of Prudential Advisors.

In 2010, Tyler became an Emeritus Financial Advisor at Prudential Advisors, which enabled him to mentor other professionals in the industry that were starting their career and continued to develop his business and share that resource with them.

He also joined the Melville Chamber of Commerce where he received the Ambassador of the Year Award in 2017. He is also the Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Business Resource Roundtable Committee, enabling him to take part voluntarily in bringing professionals, organizations, and businesses together to share resources and opportunities with one another.

He is very active with the Chambers Members, voluntarily offering one on one mentorship, utilizing his business experience in the business community and the community at large.

He is also a member of the Hauppauge Industrial Association and The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce where he offers similar voluntary activities.

In his personal life, he is actively involved in diversity in the work place activities, young professional groups as well as developing connections between Long Island educational institutions and local industry to promote interest and job opportunities for our students during school and upon graduation.

He is an avid technology fan, jogger, reader and claims to find most of his creativity in the gym while working out. He spends time with his children, through participating in their sports and school activities and traveling with them as well.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in 1954, and then moved to Wantagh Long Island over 20 years ago to raise his family of 2 boys and 2 girls. He hopes to see them thrive here on Long Island and is working towards making that easier for more families as well.
