This document outlines the terms and conditions of use for the products and services provided by Melville Chamber of Commerce (“Company”). By using the Company’s products and services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

The Chamber is committed to an environment free of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. The Chamber does not tolerate discrimination against or harassment of our employees, members, guests of members, or any third party. Any form of discrimination and/or harassment on the basis of: race, color, creed, age, religion, ancestry, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, gender (including gender identity), pregnancy (including pregnancy-related impairments), sexual orientation, disability, or any other classification protected by federal, state, and local laws and ordinances is a violation of this policy and will be treated as a disciplinary matter. Any member who fails to abide by this policy, or fails to have his/her guests abide by this policy, will be disciplined up to and including cancellation of his/her Chamber membership, forfeiture of any monies paid to the Chamber to date, and other corrective/legal action if applicable. If you believe someone has violated this policy, you should promptly bring the matter to the immediate attention of a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, who will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. By renewing and/or continuing your membership with the Chamber, you agree to abide by these policies.

  1. User Agreement You agree to use the Company’s products and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms and conditions. You may not use the Company’s products and services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Company’s servers or networks, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Company’s products and services.

  2. Changes to Terms and Conditions The Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Company’s products and services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

  3. Intellectual Property Rights The Company’s products and services, including but not limited to its software, technology, and content, are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any of the Company’s intellectual property for commercial purposes without the Company’s express written consent.

  4. Limitation of Liability The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Company’s products and services. In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Company’s products and services.

The Company makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the products and services, or the information, content, materials, or products included on the products and services.

  6. Governing Law These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is located. Any legal action arising from or related to these terms and conditions or the Company’s products and services shall be brought in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the Company is located.

  7. Termination The Company may, in its sole discretion, at any time terminate or suspend all or a portion of the Company’s products and services, or your use thereof, with or without notice and with or without cause.
