The Melville Chamber of Commerce Mission

Incorporated in 2001, the Melville-East Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce operates as the Melville Chamber of Commerce. We aim to foster economic and business development through collaboration among businesses, educational institutions, government resources, and our community. Our members will benefit from each other's success by advocating, participating, and educating.

Our Chamber provides networking opportunities, business-to-business services, and programs that create and stimulate business growth. We strive to create an inclusive and thriving business environment in our region and across Long Island. We work with businesses, communities, professional leaders, and elected officials to improve the quality of life for our business community and residents.

Executive Director

Mr. Macaluso is an accomplished business leader with 25+ years of experience in the public and private sectors. As the Executive Director of the Melville Chamber of Commerce, he is committed to promoting the growth and success of local businesses, fostering community partnerships, and advocating for the needs of the Chamber's members.

Before joining the Chamber, Mr. Macaluso held various leadership roles in business development, marketing, and strategic planning. He has a proven track record of building successful partnerships and creating innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiencies.

Mr. Macaluso is deeply invested in the Melville community and has been an active member of several local organizations. As Executive Director, he brings knowledge and expertise to the Chamber and is passionate about helping businesses succeed in the dynamic and competitive Long Island marketplace.

Committees

The Melville Chamber of Commerce has the following specialized committees. These committees provide a forum for participants to collaborate on critical business issues, build a productive network of business-to-business relationships and play a role in our organization's decision-making.

Business Resource Platform Committee

The Business Resource Committee will provide all Melville Chamber of Commerce members with strategic resources, education, and opportunities to achieve their company goals and grow and prosper in the Long Island business community.

Women’s Platform Committee

Women of Melville Empowerment Network (W.O.M.E.N.) To empower, recognize and inspire women of the Melville Chamber.

NexGeN Professionals Platform Committee

Create a platform for our members to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to our community's economic development and high-quality living.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Town Hall Platform Committee

Encourage, promote, and provide resources for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the community.

Government Affairs Committee

Ensuring adequate and appropriate monitoring, advocating, and oversight of federal, state, and local legislation and economic development issues that could affect the Chamber and its members.
