Why it is worth two minutes

People find you by what you do. Somebody searching the directory for "fix my roof" is shown members whose listing describes that work. A listing with only a name and a phone number cannot match anything.
The Chamber can introduce you. We match members to the customers, suppliers and referral partners they actually want. That reads your description, so an empty one means we have nothing to go on.
