By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and members of the Melville Chamber of Commerce website and its services.

Membership

Membership in the Melville Chamber of Commerce is subject to approval and annual dues as outlined at the time of enrollment. Membership benefits, event access, and directory listings are extended at the Chamber's discretion.

Dues, automatic renewal and cancellation

Membership dues are annual. The amount is set by the size of your business and is shown before you pay. Dues cover everyone at your company for the year they are paid.

If you pay by card, your membership renews automatically. On each anniversary of your enrollment the Chamber charges the same card the same annual rate, and continues to do so every year until the membership is canceled. A receipt is emailed each time a payment is taken. If the rate for your band changes, the Chamber tells you before the renewal that would charge it.

To cancel, sign in to your member profile and request a cancellation. You can also call the Chamber on 631-517-0017 or email hello@melvillechamber.org. A cancellation stops the next renewal; your membership, listing and event access run to the end of the year you have already paid for.

Dues already paid are not refunded on a mid-year cancellation, since the membership continues for the rest of that year. If a renewal is charged in error, tell the Chamber and it will be refunded.

Members who are invoiced rather than paying by card are not enrolled in an automatic renewal. The Chamber sends an invoice each year instead.

Event registrations

Events that carry a guest fee are paid online at the time of registration, by card. A seat is held once the payment goes through, and there is no payment at the door. Members attend at the member rate shown on each event, which for most events is free. If an event is canceled by the Chamber, paid registrations are refunded in full.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of the Melville Chamber of Commerce or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

Event Submissions & User Content

Members who submit events, discounts, job postings, or other content to the Chamber's website are responsible for the accuracy of that content. The Chamber reserves the right to edit or remove any submission at its discretion.
